there’s another one I became a member of which was pretty good. if i can remember what it’s name is, I’ll pass it on. which one of these seems to be the most useful?
Jun 22, 2013 @ 03:30:38
@j.e.glaze Right now I’m getting the most from Technomads: Technology Enabled Nomads.
If you remember the one you know, let me know. That will be great!

have i told you, star-father, that i live in an r.v.? not necessarily by choice. the mate lives in another one, parked right behind mine (he smokes, tv’s, games. me-not so much 😀 ) very useful links, sir; thank you.
Jul 15, 2013 @ 03:10:43
I don’t remember you telling me. It is pretty neat you have smoking and non-smoking homes. 🙂 Sorry you are there not by choice.
What have you learned living in one?
Jul 15, 2013 @ 09:16:20
that is true, sir. i will include that (smoking vs non-smoking rv) in my blessings list. i am not sure how a-typical i am. i don’t move, in this one. it sits on a lot in rv park, out in the desert. the smaller one we do use for short trips. 1st thing that leaps to mind is to get AAA, for rv’s. very very handy. 😀
Jul 16, 2013 @ 17:47:16
AAA is one I didn’t know about. That is a great tip. I’ll add it to my list to check out. Thank you

🙂 the other thing, as i sit in my old rv, putting pots under leaks (monsoon season here), is to find a reliable RV repair place. preferably a mobile one. priceless. 😀

I know of a place where I live, but I’m going to have to rely on the advice of others when I am traveling.

Those are cool. Some really caught my eye: The Roy Hunt House car and the Surf ‘n turf combo-cruiser amphibian home. The ‘Canned Hams’ still have a following today. A lot of people seem to collect, restore, and enjoy them.
