Earlier this week I was able to spend some time taking pictures along Weogufka Creek. It was too hot to stay long but I did get a few interesting shots.
The dragonfly let me get pretty close. I was surprised.
This flower was growing in the creek. Does anyone recognize it?

Great photos!
Very cool that the dragonfly let you take it’s portrait! 🙂 I love their wings!
I don’t know what that flower is…but, it reminds me of some little lilies I’ve seen.
Do you pronounce the creek’s name “we-o-guf-ka”?!
Happy Whee-kend!

Great shot of the dragon fly and I bet the creek was an enjoyable spot to be on a hot day.

It was wonderful.

I think your flower is a water willow. Your dragon fly might be a slaty skimmer.

Thank you for the names. I really appreciate that. 😀
