I am negotiating a possible telecommuting computer job.
New tires are on the jeep. $861
I think all my insurance has been updated to reflect what has changed. I canceled and changed several policies.
I canceled garbage collection at my former house.
Christy, Jesse, and I looked at the Scottsdale RV. I needed a second opinion. I probably need a third and fourth. I’m attempting to arrange for an awesome mechanic I know to look at it.
I looked at two more RVs. Sorry no pictures. I really liked a 1999 Fleetwood Discovery diesel pusher. It has been kept in a garage, had 99,000 miles and they are asking $30,000. It doesn’t need tires. The interior is immaculate. The dealer will thrown in teaching me how to work everything and setting the jeep up for towing.

The fleetwood sounds like a good possibility. So the job is to buy new tires for the jeep? Good idea.

lots of us cheering. (that mechanic is important. ideal would be someone that knows RVs and can look at electrical systems, the propane for cooking/heating, AC & heater, etc.) i bought an old 34 ft. itasca (winnebago) for $8K, but, i should not have. was desperate at the time. since then we’ve bought a fleetwood for $5k and that one turned out to be the better deal. runs and everything. π more cheering.

I’ll have to search a bit more to find someone who knows the non-drive train parts of an RV. But you are right, I need them.

The Fleetwood sounds nice, but it’s good you’re looking around. If it is going to be your home from now on, you want to make sure you pick the one you really want and that everything will be working fine on it.

You are right. It is difficult. I’ve don’t know a lot about them. I’m getting help though.

t must be interesting to check on RV’s. Changing insurances is good as some of it, you won’t need. But imagine, having paid into a coverage for ages, and then cancelling it, is a waste.
Good luck JR, in choosing a good RV

Thank you. It is interesting looking at them. I’m going again this afternoon.

So many decisions to be made! We’re all following you with interest and curiosity. It’s good you have someone to look over the mechanical aspects of your future home-on-the-road.

I’m afraid I’ll make an expensive mistake but I still have to proceed. π
