I’m sorry things are so messed up in Baltimore. I wish it was different. There is nothing I can do to change things there. I can talk about it and argue about it until I’m blue or red in the face. Nothing will change.
If I want to change things I have to start with myself and work outward one bit at a time.

I’m sorry that this behavior is being repeated over and over again — it seems to me we should have learned several lessons since the ’50’s and ’60’s! Yesterday was the 23rd Anniversary of the beginning of the Rodney King riots — a slightly different trigger, but the same issue — and a most shocking episode in the history of Los Angeles! We all wished then that we could do something, but it seems we haven’t learned the lessons!
