The harvest festival is celebrated in several countries and by many religions. It is a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and for the preceding year. On the 24th day of giving thanks, I am thankful for the Water Protectors.
We need to look at ourselves and what our country is doing to that sovereign nation (A sovereign nation is one that is independent and has supreme authority or power over itself).

In this case, both doing nothing ( the liberals’ approach) and forcing the people to abide by industry’s wishes (the conservatives’ approach) have resulted in more pain and suffering for the Water Protectors. A gathering of the minds and hearts is necessary, to alleviate this turmoil.

I have finally done some research. It seems the pipeline isn’t going across reservation land at all.
There seems to be some disagreement about the sacred burial grounds too.
The crossing is definitely a problem.

I misunderstood that map you shared, then. But, no matter how you slice it, it doesn’t seem smart to cross the river at that wide part. If anywhere. I still fail to understand why we must transport oil from North Dakota to Illinois anyhow.
The whole dang thing is a mess.

I agree. It’s a mess. Crossing the river is a problem and seems like a terrible idea.
