The Happy Things Project continues. If things go as planned, once a week I post 3 things that create happiness in my eternal Now. I feel there will be repetition and that each Now brings new and unique happinesses too.
1. Spending time with the people I love
I listened to On Being with Krista Tippet, an interview with Carlo Rovelli. Part of the title was, All Reality is Interaction. One of the grains of science mentioned was, things don’t exist until they collide. It is in the “colliding” with the ones I love and the ones who love me that I thrive. Don’t misunderstand, I need vast amounts of solitude too.
2. Daylight Savings Time: Springing forward and longer days
It is so nice to have more day time in the evening. It’s nice to have more daylight hours in general.
3. I got to spend another weekend working with friends on their treehouse. It is fun watching the progress. I think it’s painted barn red now.

That’s the thing isn’t it. Finding exactly the right mix of social and solitude. Sounds like you know how to work that.
Treehouse sounds fun. 🙂

I do try to have a balance between solitude and social. I need my solitude to renew. Sometimes I get the balance right. Sometimes I fall all the balance beam. lol
The treehouse is a blast. What started out as a 8′ x 6′ structure has evolved into 12′ x 12′. The boy is ecstatic.

All reality is indeed interaction. Sometimes, the hardest is interaction with oneself.

I agree. My mind has been one of my greatest adversaries at times.

I need to dig up that Tippet piece. Loving the treehouse, and the balance. (-;

I haven’t listened to that episode yet, but I’m looking forward to it. It’s a great show and I especially enjoy it when she interviews theoretical physicists. Thanks for mentioning it!

I have enjoyed the few shows I’ve taken time to hear. There will be more times I’m sure.
