1. Babies
I almost had a wonderful weekend with my <1 year old grandson. Talk about fun. All that beginner’s mind, curiosity, unconditional love, unbridled joy, and newness is awesome. I can’t help but happy being with someone so fresh from “what is not this”. Maybe I’ll get another opportunity.
2. OD – The Order of Disorder
It doesn’t get much more Zen than this. I want to be a boobiesattva.
3. Answer change
I am usually carrying around at least two cameras. As a result I’m often asked, “Are you a photographer?” I’m much happier now that I answer “yes”. That doesn’t mean I’m a good photographer, but I do travel around taking photos on an almost daily basis. That is one of my primary creative activities.

I had the pleasure of meeting two newborn grand nephews, a toddler grand niece and grand nephew and a kindergarten-age grand niece, for the first time, this trip.

I held the 3rd ever baby in my life and he liked me. First was my neice. 2nd was my friends baby and this 3rd was a stranger.

Haha — I was told yesterday that I have a character flaw in that I don’t know what to do around babies — considering that I never had a baby, and my niece and nephew lived 6,000 miles away, I didn’t consider that a flaw!

Well I was never around babies growing up. They’re aliens to me. This one was sweet though.
