3: a bizarre or fantastic combination, collection, or assemblage
Sometimes, watching my Now, life feels like optical effects and illusions, a bizarre and fantastic assemblage. Science tells me it is an illusion. What is perceived is not the energy rushing about nor is it the mostly empty space between particles. The very act of looking solidifies the constantly changing scene much like a photograph.

First, I love that word. Second, here’s my story: I was in bad pain this morning. The kind that feels like it’s literally gripping and crushing you. I made off for the bathtub and very hot water and while there I was suddenly inspired by a random (but not, as we know) idea to open an app I’d signed up for a trial with. It’s called Zen. Go figure. Anyway, there, right in front of my face, was an affirmation of what I’d just posted to my personal IG. It said, “always see the blessings, even amidst the curses.” Well, I don’t feel “cursed” but I got the drift. So I scrolled down, feeling anxious and very tense and fearful from the pain, and there was a short 16 minute meditation about anxiety, and I listened and participated and it was the best anxiety meditation I’d ever listened to/done. These fateful things forced me to sign up for the yearly subscription with this service to go along with my therapy and I feel much better mentally, at least. It’s funny how miscombobulated (is that a word) things can’t appear yet they are actually, really…perfect and as they should be. I think you first taught me that many years ago but I’m only really living/seeing in the last couple of years. I suppose it’s when we are at our lowest points that we are truly open to being saved or helped. And that, my dear friend, I am – and am so grateful for your continued presence in my life after all these years and all these things our family has experienced. You’re loved by many. 🙏
