Some creature tried to climb on the car.
My guess is raccoon.
There were hundreds of these little webs stretched along one side of the path. They ranged from playing card to football size. Kind of creepy.
This is from a similar display of webs. Hundreds of these webs decorated fifty feet of the chain link fence that protects the private piers. They ranged in size from this little one to quite large.
I need to revisit these two areas with a wide angle lens.
This is one of the large webs. This was easily three feet across. It is not all in the photo. This was attached to the pier and was horizontal over the water.
