Scene 1:
Scene 2:
your life is your life
don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission.
be on the watch.
there are ways out.
there is a light somewhere.
it may not be much light but
it beats the darkness.
be on the watch.
the gods will offer you chances.
know them.
take them.
you can’t beat death but
you can beat death in life, sometimes.
and the more often you learn to do it,
the more light there will be.
~ Charles Bukowski
Scene 3:

Yep. Definitely. Back in the day on the roads in Baja California were special road guys called “Los Angeles Verde” — they existed to help the “Greengos” Gringo = green (our money) + go (what was often hoped) Bad pun or truth? I don’t know. But they helped repair the distributor on a Saab I once owned. The pin broke. They repaired it with a nail they found beside the road. When I sold the car, that nail was still there. ❤

That is a wonderful story. ❤️

It was a crazy day that ended with a flood in the Tijuana river, a torn something under the car (because of the flooded road) and an overheated radiator. Thank god was Thanksgiving and we had some cold hot dogs waiting at home! Ha ha ha!

Cold hotdogs are delicious at the end of a hungry day I like mine with kraut and mustard.

I like them, too, but just with mustard. A cold hot dog that was grilled the night before? Really who wants turkey.
