Like a poisonous snake, Covid-19 is worthy of my respect and measured caution. I will not fear either.

As Frank Herbert said, “I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

I might get sick. I might not. I might not die this time, but one day, I will take off this tiny shoe.

As I have for many years, I continue my journey in faith.

“Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' ...do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day.” ~ Matthew 6:31 and 36

Now, in this moment I have peace.
I believe I am provided for by God or The Tao or The Universe or The Goddess or other gods or you name it. This faith guides me and soothes my soul.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely[d] goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.” ~ 23rd Psalm

As we all know, forever is Now.

In the classic words of Douglas Adams. “Don’t Panic!”
