September 5: I left on a jet plane for LA. We took Southwest Airlines to Houston and from there on to LA. It’s a 6+ hour flight. I’m concerned about being cooped up in the plane with possible Covid carriers. Time will tell. It would be tragic to get sick without a place to stay other than a hotel. I can hear them now, “cha-ching”.
Other than driving through on the freeway, I have never been in LA.

I live about an hour drive south of LAX — would love to meet you while you’re here if you have time! A friend flew in from San Antonio recently, and wasn’t too concerned about safety — she went back last week.

I live inland from Laguna Beach, in Aliso Viejo. We could meet somewhere along the coast — the cottages at Crystal Cove (between Newport Beach and Laguna), or in Dana Point by the harbor.
