I visited the Oncologist. She said I was doing well. My blood work looked good. I have chemo every 3 weeks. The chemo is really hard on me. I’m weak and sick for days afterwards.
I like a little Ganisha with me when I go to chemo.
I need to sell WHQ. I won’t be living there again.

I was at the local museum hanging paintings. One of my fellow artists and her husband were there, too. He’s 90; she’s 85, they’re both a little frail but I have never heard such absolutely wonderful dark humor in my life. I asked if they’d be there Saturday when the opening is and she said, “As far as I know.” We all laughed…. Somehow, for me, dark humor is an element of sanity. To me that translates to realizing that life IS a very strange dream.

A year after chemo & radiation, my #’s are holding steady (& low) — and I am now up to getting back to living my life! Hopefully you will say the same thng a year from now!
