A few more finds from Keri Smith’s book The Pocket Scavenger. I would like to include some of these as part of #The100DayProject.

QOTD: “You are free to regularly revise your philosophy of life to account for the ever-changing contours of your own destiny and the ever-evolving urgencies of our shared culture.
You are free—FREE!!!!—to care dearly about what images and stories and words you allow to flood into your sacred imagination. You are free to regard omnipresent advertising as a form of propagandistic brainwashing. You are free to recognize that other people’s freedoms are as important as yours.” ~ Rob Brezsny
I appreciate each of you. Your visits, likes, prayers and comments mean so much. Stay safe and well out there in the CCE.

I had a long and interesting talk with my neighbor this morning. There was much laughter and the discovery that though we have similar views of life, we do not share the same political philosophy. This gives me hope and it made me happy. At the end of the conversation we looked at each other (long talk about Covid and long Covid from which we are both suffering and/or enduring) and said, “Nobody knows anything.” That is how my personal philosophy has revised itself over the course of my life, from knowing everything to knowing nothing.

Funny how that works out. I feel a lot happier not knowing.
