1. The Mad Scramble

I shot the video with an iPhone and the 8 mm app. The editing was done using the Splice app. Nova Rain added the voiceover.

2. All this ice-0-lation, self reflection and meditation is bearing fruit. I flipped out some in the last few days. Melancholy! Confusion! At loose ends. Adrift. Then boom. With the help of a friend I peeled off a huge, tough, nasty layer from my onion. “The unbearable lightness of being”. Growth is difficult. But I am better now. Closer to nobody.

3. I’ve been trying to get my oil and filters changed since January 2020. I’ve been turned away once. SpeedCo didn’t have the oil filter. That is just not true. There was some other reason. Beats me. I may have found a good local place. Maybe during July WHQ will be well lubricated once again.

Thanks 😊 so much for coming by and interacting. You brighten my day and bring joy to my heart. Stay safe and well out there in the CCE. I love you.

Covid Day 10

Osho Zen Tarot 3 of Clouds

My take away? In the time of Covid-19 the isolation can leave us feeling helpless, cold, and alone. It is ok to scream, beat your pillow or drum, and cry. I beat my drum every day. The rainbow-tears on the face are tears of hope, tears of healing, tears of growth. Feel the fear and the pain. Let it pass thru you. Be gentle with yourself and others. This is passing as all things are.

Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate you. Stay well. Check out my other exploits on Vero, Twitter, and Instagram. #maya #bekind #revolution #resist

Day 14

I am grateful the first freezing 🥶 weather was endured without any freeze damage. Jesse and I weathered it well other than getting cabin fever. Being cooped up in a 250 sq ft space with a 10 year old has its challenges.

My rig

Parked at R Haven RV Park in Rising Fawn GA

Scene 1:

This was going to be the third travel day in a row. I elected to forego the stop at Mountain Lakes. It was raining too much.

I’m remaining in Rising Fawn GA a few more days.

Scene 2:

Grey skies and rain chill the air and my soul.

Scene 3:

Since I inadvertently lost all my notes I’ve started using other tools for note keeping. One of these is Google Docs. I also may begin a new series of post here as a result.

Scene 1:

Criticizing myself with the internal parent voice was one of worst things I ever had to unlearn.

“Excessively self-critical thoughts may often have their roots in negative experiences with caregivers in childhood. Studies on relationships and the attachments formed between parents and other primary caregivers show that the earliest bonds in life often have a significant effect on a person’s future relationships as well as a person’s sense of self.

Authoritarian parenting styles, which may be controlling and marked by rigidity, may have the effect of fostering negative self-perceptions and a low sense of self-worth in children. When children feel rejected by their parents, are not treated with warmth and compassion, or are frequently criticized, they may be more likely to grow up overly critical of both themselves and others. “ – https://www.goodtherapy.org/learn-about-therapy/issues/self-criticism

I was talking to myself in my parents’ voices. “You’ll never be good enough.” “Evil sinner!” And much more. Once I let that go, life got so much better. I encouraged myself. I patted myself on the back. “Well done!” Became a more common thought.

Four of the next six days are travel days. This is a different way of traveling for me. I usually park and stay a while. This is the first of the six. My CaravanI’m parked for the night right by the WiFi tower.

Lots of RV work going on.

Scene 1:

Bass boat

Jesus Saves

Before I could get too involved with the hydraulic leveling system I enjoyed a little time getting “saved” by my bass fishing neighbors.

Scene 2:

These are the steps for adding hydraulic fluid to the reservoir. I had to clean the reservoir to read the directions.

Scene 3:

I snagged a cardboard box to lay on while I worked. I did not want to lay in rocks and dirt and weeds. I serviced the jacks themselves too.
Q tips and rags WD 40 & Silicon lubricant. These are what I used to clean and lubricate the four jacks. I also used a grease gun to grease the jacks.

All done. I added 3/4 of a quart of hydraulic fluid. The popping has stopped. I won’t know about the alarm until I move to Hartselle AL.6 days until travel day Follow my exploits on Twitter and Instagram

Scene 1:

I posted a new 1SE video. It’s one or so seconds from each day in my April.

Scene 2:

I had lunch at Tin Top BBQ #2. I got my pig wing fix for this summer. They were delicious as usual.
I was looking for a table. This gentleman in a driving cap invited me to join him. He told some good stories about his life. One was about how he worked his way up in ACIPO from sweeping the floor to being in charge of one section. He is 86 years old and still married to the same woman. We had a nice chat over lunch.

Scene 3:

On my. There are Peeps still hiding in WHQ. I can’t find them anywhere and there aren’t a lot of places.

I hope they escaped. I’d hate to find their dried out remains later.
