As I read different blogs and comments somedays phrases pop off the page and attach themselves briefly, or more permanently, to my mind. Today was such a day. “…the filaments of Heaven attached to it, the capacity for wonder.” – MarthaKenndy.Blog
Scene 3:
Dang, my head exploded. I knew all that sugar and caffeine wasn’t good for me.
I’m cruising down the Old Nashville Hwy. All is good in my world.
What’s that, a sign? Hell, it’s a low clearance sign. 12’6” clearance ahead. Danger! I can’t go there.
Fortuitously there was a closed business with a big enough place for me to pull over. I stopped and searched alternate paths or at least a big enough spot to turn around. Bingo! Neighborhood streets. Hopefully no low overhangs.
When I looked up, the La Vergne police were watching. It was clear the officer had stopped to help. My predicament was obvious.
Happily I rolled away.
Ten miles later I missed my turn into the campground. Once more the universe provided. There was a marina a mile further on. I turned around there. It was steep and barely large enough, but worked.
A week late, but here it is, the latest edition of Shiny Rocks.

Thoughts I thunk
Escape the cult of average.
Change the lens and change reality.
The magic sword of truth.
The odd thing is we all seem to have our own truth.
People have made a lot of rules. Rules aren’t bad. They help in a lot of cases. But life isn’t about rules. Learn and teach critical thinking and what is right in a situation becomes easier to find.
Relax, take a deep breath. Get ready. It’s going to change.
Interesting idea
Positive Psychology Positive psychologists seek “to find and nurture genius and talent” and “to make normal life more fulfilling”, rather than merely treating mental illness. Positive psychology is primarily concerned with using the psychological theory, research and intervention techniques to understand the positive, adaptive, creative and emotionally fulfilling aspects of human behavior.

Background
People who can see me in non-cyber space know I love shiny rocks. I pick them up. I carry them with me. I randomly give them away. I accept them as gifts. They sit on windowsills and tables.
This is the fourth in a series of biweekly features about sharing the gems and jewels I find along the way (quotes, songs, thoughts, notes, websites, photos I take, photos I see). I hope you like the shiny cyber rocks. I may update Shiny Rocks all during the day as I come across new shiny things.
If you have some shiny rocks you’d like to share leave them in the comments. Let me know what you think.
May truth, love, and light embrace you and emanate from you.
A few double exposure pictures taken with the Hipstamatic app and post processed with Snapseed.
The pictures above and below were taken at Market Square. Seren and I were hanging out there while Starr took down her art after a successful hanging at The Tomato Head.
The last picture was taken while I was drinking some coffee in front of the DoubleTree hotel in the Secret City.
What have I done? A lot of things are the same as the last time I posted about my progress. Some of these seem to be never ending.
Cleaned out my office some more.
Took some junk away out of the yard
Threw more things away at the house. It amazes me how much there is to throw away.
Took a lot of items to the donation box
I looked at three more motor homes.
This Infinity motor home has 32,000 miles and the asking price is $33,000.I have no idea if that is a good deal. I did like the way it looked on the outside. It had one slide and no awning. One slide and an awning are on my preferences list. The mileage is two thousand over my 30,000 mile preference. That isn’t a big deal. I think this is a gas burner and people have told me that diesel is the only way to go. Beats me if there is any important difference.
It didn’t say how many miles were on the 1991 Holiday Rambler Imperial. The asking price wasn’t listed either.
It had no slide but it did have an awning. It appeared to have a gas engine. All around, I didn’t like the way this one looked.
I really liked the driver’s side door. I haven’t seen that before.
I also looked at a 1991 Winnebago. It had body damage and wheel damage.
500 Days is the name of this evil plan. I need your help picking a title/name for my upcoming evil plan: a seven day road trip across Tennessee: Memphis, Nashville, and Oak Ridge. Any naming suggestions?
