1. I took another road trip. I took a shorter trip to Knoxville to visit Starr and practice air mattress surfing

2.

3. Alone on a front porch rocking in a black rocker and drinking coffee. The chilled morning air numbs my fingers and toes. The crescent moon stands guard overhead while city traffic, birds and barking dogs serve as Muzak.
City workers load limbs in a truck.

Thank you for stopping in for a visit. Your visits lift my spirits. Stay safe and well out there in the CCE. Peace and love.

Scene 1:

Criticizing myself with the internal parent voice was one of worst things I ever had to unlearn.

“Excessively self-critical thoughts may often have their roots in negative experiences with caregivers in childhood. Studies on relationships and the attachments formed between parents and other primary caregivers show that the earliest bonds in life often have a significant effect on a person’s future relationships as well as a person’s sense of self.

Authoritarian parenting styles, which may be controlling and marked by rigidity, may have the effect of fostering negative self-perceptions and a low sense of self-worth in children. When children feel rejected by their parents, are not treated with warmth and compassion, or are frequently criticized, they may be more likely to grow up overly critical of both themselves and others. “ – https://www.goodtherapy.org/learn-about-therapy/issues/self-criticism

I was talking to myself in my parents’ voices. “You’ll never be good enough.” “Evil sinner!” And much more. Once I let that go, life got so much better. I encouraged myself. I patted myself on the back. “Well done!” Became a more common thought.

The Lady and the Traveler

While out for an evening stroll I see a woman gently tugging at her cocker spaniel urging it to continue their walk. The spaniel stayed put looking at me. I walked towards them. It was my direction. When I got closer the spaniel stood up and walked towards me. I petted and scratched her back. The whole time the owner is going on about how the dog is afraid of men and usually cowers and tries to get away from them. The owner explained the dog had been beaten and thrown out a truck window by a man.

She is a sweet doggie. Her name is Lady.

Tater Barrels
Thought for a minute I had found a source for tater babies.

New grocery store challenge? Eat the raw meat and put the bones back. Frog spit

Finish that meat off with some Frog Spit. Bagel, pepperoni, cherry tomato and cheese sandwiches.

Never know, one might need a bagel, pepperoni, cherry tomato and cheese sandwich made by a 7 year old.

In the meat section, it was labeled pig tails. I don’t know. Make up your own mind.

QOTD: “Love what you love, friends, and be not ashamed.” – Joanna DeVoe

Scene 1:

The only requirement for a Christian is belief and acceptance of Jesus as Lord/God/Savior. The one and only God! Everything else is someone’s opinion.

Scene 2:

Reality is magical. The more quantum mechanics I read, the more magical reality becomes. It seems clear to me that each of us is creating our own separate realities. Sometimes enough of us agree on a reality and bring that into some sort of group existence.

Scene 3:

The older than me man next door was hooking up his Casita to head south.
Me: Be careful out there.
Him: Looking up from his hitch, “NO!”
“Thats no fun.”
With that he loaded up his walker and the doberman, Agnus, and drove away.
